When Savitri matures, she receives many proposals for marriage, but decides to wed a poor woodcutter, Satyavan, who saved from being attacked by a tiger, and who lives a poor lifestyle in a Rishi-Ashram along with blind parents, who were once Raja and Maharani, but their kingdom was taken away by deceit by the Raja's brother. Despite objections from her parents, Savitri and Satyavan wed, and Savitri goes to live a simple lifestyle. She undertakes the Akhand Saubhagyawati Vrath, but shortly thereafter Satyavan passes away after being bitten by a snake. Yamraj sends his Dhoots to bring in Satyavan's soul, but they are prevented by Savitri. Yamraj himself undertakes this task, and after successfully deceiving Savitri, claims Satyavan's soul and takes it with him. Upset at Yamraj, Savitri decides to follow him, with assistance from Devi Maa Gayatri, all the way from Prithvilok, then to Devlok, then to Swarg, and it is finally at Brahmlok that she will be told that no mortal can enter this realm, and is asked to leave, but not before Yamraj agrees to grant her three wishes - none of these could be utilized to bring back her deceased husband. The question remains: what will Savitri wish for?

He does get to meet her at Mehboob Studios, and speak with Mallika herself. Before he could finish speaking with her, he is rudely interrupted by Tolluram, Manisha's uncle (Govind Namdeo), who insults and humiliates him and tells him to leave. Kittu is confused at this, and gets appalled and concerned about Mallika, when he learns that her life is being controlled by her uncle, aunt and cousin sister. One day he witnesses her uncle beating her up, he breaks into her house, assaults the uncle, and abducts Mallika. The next day, there is furore in the media when everyone learns that an actress has been abducted. The police get involved. Kittu decides to take Mallika to his home to his parents, and does so. He hides her in his house, but decides not to tell anyone in his family about Mallika. How long will Kittu succeed in doing this? Is this what Mallika wants, or is she being taken advantage of again? How long will a famous actress hide out without anyone else coming to know her?

He decides to rent one of the rooms, and the tenant is a newspaper reporter named Seema Sohni (Sridevi), who happens to dislike children. Internation crime lord and terrorist Mogambo (Amrish Puri) takes an interest in his very house to store his firearms, and other weapons, and sends his men to force Arun to vacate. Arun and some of the children are beaten-up and threatened with dire consequences if they do not vacate the house. Arun's dad's friend Professor Sinha (Ashok Kumar) shows Arun a device that will make in him invisible, and thereby he will find a way to fight to keep the house. Arun tries the device, and he becomes invisible. Using this, he is able to turn the tables on Mogambo's men, and calls himself "Mr.India". Mr. India becomes popular with the masses, and people everywhere rejoice and claim him to be their new savior. No one knows that Mr. India is Arun, save for Jugal (Aftab Shivdasani). This does not auger well with Mogambo, and he spreads his terror, killing hundreds of innocent citizens, including a child in Arun's care. Mogambo decides to kidnap the children, Seema, and Arun himself, and hopes to trap Mr. India, when he attempts to rescue them. The abduction takes place, and Arun, Seema, and the children are locked in a cell. In this skirmish, Arun misplaces the device, while Seema and the children await the arrival of Mr. India to rescue them, not knowing that time is running out, and Mogambo has already planned their deaths in a pit full of acid.
