Awesome Movie (by Sidney_Malfoy) |
I recently picked up my copy of Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch, not really planning to watch it, and only to add to my Disney collection, but I decided to actually put it in the DVD player and turn it on. I'm so glad that I did.No matter how many times I watch it, I'm captured by its brilliance and am moved to tears when our dear little Stitch dies. Despite the fact that Fanning replaced the previous Lilo, she was excellent, adding her own twist to the voice while still keeping it near to Chase's.I loved the fact that we learned more about the wonderful island of Kawaii, <more> |
Loved It!!! (by portner03) |
Just for the record, I am 17 and I am absolutely in love with Lilo & Stitch 1 & 2!!! Both movies had scenes that made me laugh and cry. I thoroughly enjoyed watching both movies and for anyone that hasn't seen them...it is a must! Age doesn't matter in these movies because so many themes speak to everyone. At the end of Lilo & Stitch 2, when Lilo is crying, it broke my heart and my eyes filled with tears. I also laughed so hard when Pleakley began "romancing" David to make Nani jealous. These films will make everyone laugh and cry and go out and buy an alien life <more> |
Great movie, not quite the original (by Makel) |
I personally though this movie was very good. The story had was great, unlike the one in Stitch the movie. Even though in my opinion the comedy was sparce, I still liked it, including the family night. The ending made me cry a bit, I mean, killing off Stitch? How could they? I liked how they got Lilo and brought him back though, it would have been a huge disappointment if he was actually gone. I loved the animation, the only problem was with the noses, but like that will change. Great movie for all ages. x3Voices were great but no daveigh. Dakota wasn't fit for the job. not up to par <more> |
One of the best ever Disney sequels (by Bon_Jovi_chick) |
Now I have seen the first film and fell in love with it. I have not been a fan of Disney sequels so I watched this with cautioned. In the end, I fell completely in love with it. It would have been nice to have Daveigh Chase be Lilo. However, due to her commitments with the TV show, that wasn't possible. To be fair, I really liked Dakota Fanninf in this and in my opinion, she gives Lilo a "lower" voice which actually reflects on the dark tone of the film.Yes it is somewhat darker than the original film and I guess that's why I like it so much. Now, in my opinion, some Disney <more> |
Cute and Fluffy - just how it should be (by sammyjosmith) |
After seeing Lilo and Stitch i thought no movie would ever come close to how cute it was. However, the very beginning of 'Stitch has a Glitch' was so cute i found myself awwing and wanting a stitch of my own. The story line stays true to the original Ohana/Elvis theme, and has some really funny moments. If you liked Lilo and Stitch you will love this one too. Although a little predictable like most children's films, i felt this was one of Disney' finest achievements. A couple of the characters from the first film are not involved, such as Cobra Bubbles, the story and the <more> |
A lot more down-to-earth, and all the better for it! (by dimestitch5) |
Lilo and Stitch was a nice surprise when i rented it out one day. It didn't look like your average Disney flick. It had a twisted reality to it, and what better combination than to have aliens from outer space and hula dancing Hawaiian girls? Surfice to say I bought Lilo and Stitch the next day! To me the film ended too quickly. But thats the problem with an origin film, even as the creators say in the audio commentary "they didn't want it to end and wanted to show the true Pelekai family life that followed" so thats why they did that wonderful end credits with the <more> |
Tons better than expected (by topherwriter) |
I saw Lilo & Stitch 2 with my little brother while we were traveling in the car and I found that it was really good. It had a lot of funny moments in it and the ending had a really good message to it.I thought that this movie would be kind of like Stitch the Movie which had the sole purpose of kicking off the series and not that great of a plot. I found however that the story was a lot better, they had some pretty good subplots to it, and it was both funny and poignant.I would recommend this movie for many people, though it does have an appropriate "PG" rating, but I only give <more> |
Diney's Best Sequel DVD release ever! Definitely WAY better then "Stitch: The Movie!" (by Sean_Pierce) |
This is by far the best sequel I've seen as a DVD/video release from Disney. From all of the other sequels Disney made weren't as "enchanting", not a lot of work was put into e.g., story plot, voice acting, score, music, etc. although this movie is worth the purchase and the viewing! It even has a sort of twist in the movie no spoiling! To put it simply, here's how I'd put the movie:The Good: -animation stayed and true and original as in "Lilo And Stitch" unlike "Stitch: The Movie" -the score qualifies well for a theatrical release -story and <more> |
