the duration of the film. I enjoyed it incredibly. It was immersing, I related to every character on a deep emotional level, the main character Gene played by famous actor T J Miller seemed to grow so much and by the end it was like seeing the achievements of my own child. I loved the strong female character, it was great to see feminism portrayed I such a great way. Hi-5 was so funny and his design was humorous.Now let me tell you about the plot. This movie was deep, I found myself completely immersed and time seemed to fly. By the end I felt like a different person, this is so much more then a children's movie. I'd recommend to anybody to go see this movie. It seems like it will become a classic like pulp fiction or back to the future in no time. And trust me when I say, I've already got tickets to see it again. Over all I would give this movie a 9/10 and I'm a pretty tough critic. So make sure you get your tickets now and prepare for the best movie you'll see in a while. By the end you won't be going meh! ;

recently, I can safely conclude that the Emoji Movie must and shall be the stepping stone toward a society in which either the elitists are cast from their throne of pretentiousness by the common-folk, or cast out of society altogether, voluntarily or by force.The film opens with the "Columbia Pictures" logo the one with the woman carrying the torch , only for the expectations of the consumer to be completely and violently subverted by the revelation that we are looking at this logo not through the lens of the projector, but through the lens of a cellphone's camera, as the frame zooms out to reveal that someone is taking a photo of this woman using the Snapchat app. Such a subversion of such a classic logo primes the audience for a spectacle that the consumer, and not the snob, can relate to. Gone are the days during which we must fabricate a fondness for dated symbols such as this woman and her torch. 1928 the year of the logo's inception was 89 years ago. We no longer wear stolas and carry torches. We have had electricity for over a century! Why should we feign amazement for such useless and inefficient technology as a torch? Only the most pretentious of film reviewers could take issue with this appeal to the masses. they left the male bashing out but it seems if a movie can't be full of cussing they stick feminist comments into it. Why can't a movie be made without having to bash a gender or race. There was only two comments made, one was slightly offensive but the other was a highly sexist feminist comment. Nothing like making a children's movie only to put a few male bashing comments in it like we don't already have enough of that in commercials or the PG+ movies.

I'm being serious! Without further a do, lets get into the review!"The Emoji Movie" is about this emoji called Gene who has more than just one emoji. He can do multiple emotions when all other emoji's have just one. He wants to get fixed so he teams up with Hi-5 since he wants to get back in the cube too and a hacker named Jailbreak.There were some parts that I actually found enjoyable to watch! Examples of these scenes are Just Dance, The Candy Crush scene and many more! What I liked about the Just Dance scene is that they used good music and the dance movies were again enjoyable. The JD sequence was great in my opinion! I'm also a JD user myself so I really enjoyed that sequence! There was also a dance sequence at the end which I also enjoyed watching! I also really liked the animation and the characters! I thought they were fantastic! :DThere were, however some parts that I would like to see some improvements on. An example of this is the jokes. The poop jokes I did not laugh at because that is not my type of humor but there were other jokes that were not poop jokes of course that I quite laughed at. The plot line is quite predictable too. However I did not really mind if it was predictable or not.Overall, this movie was good! Some parts I would have loved to have seen being improved but I enjoyed it! You can go ahead and disagree with me but this is my opinion. For this movie, I'm giving it...8/10

however I felt sorry for Gene the meh emoji when he was rejected by Jailbreak as you could defiantly tell their was some kind of sexual tension between the two, despite being a kids film. I have a few criticisms, first off I am pretty sure the eggplant emoji gets used a hell of a lot. Also Sir Patrick Stewart has really gone down hill in my mind due to him playing as a poo instead of some of his more major roles in films like x men.Overall in my option the emoji movie is an OK kids film and people need to remember that this film is a kids film and not a Hollywood mega film despite the 50 million USD budget that is aimed for all. I will admit I went with low hopes to this film but was shocked at the fact I enjoyed it. All in all the film is OK for what it is but nothing that special. I would recommend this film to young children and teens. However don't go and see this film if you are expecting a masterpiece.
