| Excellent film this one. The scary bits are great. I do not understand why this went straight to DVD? Anyways if you liked one and two you will love this. NO OTHER HORROR MOVIES COMPARE TO THE GRUDGE. Although the kid actors were replaced this time the new actors done a great job. A lot of the plot is explained in this one. so get ready to start to understand the true meaning of the films name. the grudgeI loved it so much and I recommend it to those who like horrors. But be careful. I doubt a 4th will be made though : Enjoy the masterpiece that is grudge3 |

| Don't believe the negative reviews. The spirit of the first two movies is intact, with that same creepy "you ain't getting' away from this curse" vibe--same simplicity, people hearing noises and dying for no good reason, which is why I love this series anyway. Don't worry about the "low budget" feel, its only because they had to go cheap on the actors, but Marina Sirtis counselor Troi from Star Trek: The Next Generation does make a cameo, and there is one particular scene of hers that might be the highlight of the movie. | I just recently watched this flick last week and i was so excited and i didn't want the movie to end. I love the other two Grudges, but this definitely finished them off. I'd have to say that this one was bloodier and scary as hell! This movie displayed a vicious take on the Grudge. The company that produced The Grudge 1-3, Ghost House Pictures, makes some of the scariest horror thrillers like The Messengers and 30 Days of Night. | Well i have seen all 3 Grudge films now and i love them all! It is a fantastic series! I've also seen the Japanese originals and i also love them too! This film is probably the weakest out of the 3 American ones. But still i love it and i think most fans of The Grudge series will too! It has some good scary scenes and also some gory ones which aren't in the other two these were probably put in to keep the audience interested in the series! | having seen the first two films of this franchise in the theater, really I didn't have too many expectations with this new sequel, which public launch goes straight to DVD, even the first 30 minutes the character development was pretty weak, and the ghosts of Kayako and Toshio had not really done anything scary, except for the beginning of the movie, however the last 60 minutes are without a doubt, the most distressing, dark, suffocating and frightening I've experienced in my life, suffice it to say that I watch this movie at night,and almost could not sleep, remembering to these dark <more> |

| please don't let anyone's opinion turn you away from watching this movie whether you like it or not, you will definitely feel something.i was curious, entertained , and freaked out !the story is very consistent and well presented through all 3 parts and yes this one is better then the 1st two. i love when movies cast unfamiliar actors. it helps to forget that it's just a movie you are watching, it's just a bunch of random people going through a crisis & you don't know who's gonna survive. sorry Tom Cruse, but we all know that you will never die in your movies, <more> |

| this new Grudge instalment is my worst of the three but still holds on and is enjoyable but i really do hope that this is the last one. if they make another i really do think i'll hate it. you can always see when a film series should finish by seeing how many well known actors are not in the new ones and there not replaced by other big actors. now i know i will be ridiculed for this but my favourite grudge film is the second one. i actually think the second has an epic horror movie feel due to its three long stories that are happening in three different times and different places.the <more> |
