good job Toby Oliver, but I must emphasize Johnny Kilmek has without doubt proved himself to be one of the most intriguing musical composers I have come across, the music in this movie is just bloody refreshing. All in all every horror loving Australian should be in the cinemas watching this movie because it is without a doubt a fantastic film. And to all those opposed, get out of here.

Hammersmith, played by Ryan Corr. The whole film gives you the feeling that you will never escape from Mick Taylor no matter how hard you try. And a reference to Steven Spielberg's "Duel" car chase that should go down as one of the best car chase scenes in history. Mick Taylor has many memorable and hilarious lines, and some very creepy and thrilling lines as well. The Citizen Test scene will have people thinking about it all night and maybe even all month! I loved it, a great ride from start to finish. 10/10

damn perfect, as are the actors in smaller roles. I think Shannon Ashlyn portrays terror better than any other actress I've seen. She isn't just a horror movie "scream queen;" her performance was so skilled that she rises above such a trite label. And I've seen a lot of horror movies, people. It's extremely well directed. The conclusion of an action sequence involving a truck must have looked downright stupid on the page, but damn if Greg McLean doesn't make it plausible and shocking.The entire movie is gorgeously shot. It was enough to make me want to visit Australia … if the story didn't make want to stay the hell away from Australia.I just get the impression that some movie studio planned to produce a generic, derivative slasher movie … but just inexplicably employed the best creative talent available for all aspects of its creation.Now, about my reluctance to recommend this … Please understand that this film is incredibly dark, even by horror movie standards. At times it was just too much for me. I actually stopped playing this on Netflix several times to "take a break with something lighter" by watching "The Walking Dead." Yes, you read that right.The story depicted is just brutal. There are very few movies that are too dark for me … I think I could count them on one hand. And one was 2005's original "Wolf Creek." And this film is just so masterfully made that its victims seem like real people suffering — something at which the "Saw" films and various other slasher movies rarely succeeded.I honestly think it might have been so "good" that it went past the point of entertaining me. Can I honestly recommend a movie that I felt the need to switch off?You make your own call. Again — this is exceedingly dark material, even by horror movie standards. But if you think you're up to it, watch it.

film of Mick hunting his prey. The second half is packed with more gore and a few twists here and here. The death scenes are bloodier than the first. The future DVD may have an unrated version much like the old slasher films of the 80's and 90's that have "footage not seen in Australian cinemas". I feel the character of Mick has been developed more in this film the first showed him to be friendly to begin with, then his true colours shined through . This one made him a little soft to begin in the opening scene, but then once the film gets going, it's on. He is depicted much heavily as having deep hatred to back packers in Australia than the first film. I wasn't a fan of the short time of the back packers on screen - I felt little sympathy towards them as I didn't have enough time to connect with them. Greg McLean has made some great films Rogue was a very under-rated one . His ability to capture the Australian scenery is breath-taking. The over view of Wolf Creek is unique, the long shots of the deserted highways and camera angles capture the look of the film alone, deserted, stranded, helpless and downright scared come to mind . Ryan Corr does a good job of an English tourist held at Mick's mercy. A couple of car chase scenes add some pace to the film. The first Wold Creek set the bar for Aussie slasher films, this one lifts the bar. A third one in 3D would raise the bar that much higher. If you saw the first one and loved it, see this one. It's a film you either love it or hate it. Wolf Creek film fans will have a ball. Maybe we have a cult film on our hands.

and then Taylor stalks two German travellers, one whom gets away, and bumps into a British tourist, who foolishly gives them a lift one thing I've learned from this is to never, ever stop for someone who appears extremely distressed, because chances are, they are being chased by a serial killer ' and inadvertently becomes Micks next prey.Then from there on in, its a cat and mouse movie, chase after chase, with everyone coming into contact with the Brit or Taylor, being killed in weird and wonderful ways.The realism of the first movie is gone, that was all about the sense of dread in an unknown place, this is going for the Boogyman route, emulating Freddy, Jason et al on several occasion.Replacing seriousness are flying Kangaroos almost , The Mick Taylor singalong, and a very extended quiz show for sub finale.Sounds crass I know, but its a lot of fun, kill keeping on the right side of horror, and turning it into parody. Ignore the fact that it's 'based on a true story' apparently one of the characters is in a mental health hospital somewhere in the UK , and enjoy it for the throwback shlockfest that it is.Miles better than Neighbours....

end of the movie when that guy was dumbed on the road by Mick,there were some words that showed up on the screen but i couldn't get them because they weren't bold enough,i would be happy if someone were to tweet them at me.
