action and the star, "BRONSON"...

Lawrence Tierney is chilling. To top it all of Bronson get to deliver a reeeaaally cool line before he blows away one of the bad-guys at the end. Nobody says the F-word like Charles Bronson, that's for sure.Only one quibble: the score the songs not included . It's like the composer walked out on the project and they had to do with some low budget prerecorded stuff. It's just awful how the music sometimes just seem to loop for two minutes and then tone down in a second when a phone rings, or a line is spoken. I hope someone was fired for this.But asides from the soundtrack this really is one of Charles Bronson's best of the 1980's, together with "The Evil That Men Do" and "Death Hunt". If you're not a fan of Bronson I guess that's not saying much, but if you DO like him you can not miss "Murphy's Law"!

people, i loved it, and if you put your brain and check you should too. This is an awesome 80's action film with 2 extremely likable leads, and some hilarious profanity from Kathleen Wilhoite!, and i say it's a must see!. The Direction is great.J. Lee Thompson does a great job here, with great camera work, good angles and keeping the film at a very fast pace!. There is a bit of blood. We get arrows in the neck, quite a few bloody gunshot wounds, corpses, and a gunshot wound to the head. The Acting is awesome!. Charles Bronson is AMAZING as he always was, and is amazing here, he is extremely likable, funny had some great lines, had fantastic chemistry with Kathleen Wilhoite, kicked that ass and was tons of fun to watch! Bronson Ruled! . Kathleen Wilhoite is hilarious here,her profanity was hilarious, she was also very likable, had fantastic chemistry with Bronson, was cute, and just did a fantastic job overall!. Carrie Snodgress is great as the psycho killer, she was creepy and unpredictable!. Robert F. Lyons did what he had to do well. Rest of the cast are fine. Overall a must see!. **** out of 5

A short movie, with typecast Italian villains, Pretty grim violence the air stewardess still gets me , and Bronsan shouting brilliant one liners.But wow, Arabella McGee, has the best one liners ever committed to film. It's as if the scriptwriters have left her part for their teenage sons to write, because she literally says the most immature put downs every couple of minutes.Suck on a door knob Donkey breath Whiskey breath, are just a few of the crackers, and they never fail to make me laugh.The actual plot is pretty good for the genre, and although the main villain channels Sondra Locke in Sudden Impact a little too much, she still convinces.All in all its a brilliant, cheesy action movie, that never fails to entertain.Plus it's the best movie ever to feature a man trying to stop a car by throwing shopping at it...

great. BRONSON is great as usual & is actually very funny in this film he has a sly sense of humour & seems to be having fun in his role!!! If you love Bronson & love 80's Cop films then you will love this!!!

b-movies because of their more 'realistic' approach contrary to those perfect illusions built up by the big ones, this is one you should definitely watch. It's dirty and obscure, a low life mystery placed in L.A. and I personally enjoyed it from the very start till the very end! Fantastic showdown anyway: a lot better than in those more recent, critically highly acclaimed crime movies I saw during the last 10 years. Hey you harsh critics, what's wrong with this one? "Murphys Law" has a solid plot, which is much better than most of those useless complicated stories of contemporary high-tech-productions. This Bronson/Thompson collaboration is definitely entertaining and surprisingly underrated. Give it a try! It's worth it.

other,they soon realize that they will have to team up together,since they are being persecuted by a cold murderer,Joan Freeman Carrie Snodgress,in a supreme interpretation ,who has killed Jack's wife and incriminated him,and wants revenge against all the persons who sent her to prison a few years ago.The film has good action sequences,like the helicopter's scape and the final shooting in an abandoned hotel,in the end of the movie.But the merit of the movie belongs to Carrie Snodgress.She achieves an interpretation where she passes for the public the coldness and strength of her character,a murderer,in shocking and violent sequences,all of them courageously filmed and mastery directed,like the one where she literaly destroys the judge who put her in the prison.She seduces him,disguised,and takes him to his house.There,when they are in the bathtub,she holds him and keep him under the water,with a frightful calm and,despite his fighting for escape from her arms,he doesn't succeed.It's an unforgettable sequence.Actress already nominated for the Oscar Diary of a Mad Housewife,1970 ,and winner of one Golden Globe,Carrie Snodgress has in the role of Joan Freeman a way to show the great and competent interpreter she is.
