scenes where I was crying with laughter! Its cringe toilet humor had worked and I was in tears at several moments.The whole film was embarrassing to watch just like the original Inbetweeners. That was always what made the shows so good. I was uncontrollably laughing and looking away because it was too much!There were some unfunny moments where the jokes failed after a minute of building them up. I found that this was more common at the start and the bad jokes at the start made the hilarious jokes stand out even more.There where some graphic parts in the film. All were dirty rather than violent and anyone who is made sick by the sight of very very dirty slapstick toilet jokes won't enjoy some of the funniest parts of the film which could ruin the experience...Overall I would have to say one of the best comedies and the BEST sequel I have ever seen. It wasn't just me and my 17 year old friends. The whole cinema was cracking up! If you enjoyed the first Inbetweeners movie you will enjoy this, since in my opinion it trumps it in almost every way.

Yes, it's still not as 'punchy' as the shorter-length episodes, but I found it generally funnier overall than its predecessor.Basically, if you already know what sort of humour you'll be subjected to in 'The Inbetweeners' movies then you should like this. If you don't, you really better check out a TV episode or two before you chance one of their films. The film, like the series, charts the seemingly never-ending exploits of four hormonally-charged teenage boys and their experiences in wooing the opposite gender. And it's filled with crudeness, lewdness and generally scenes that will make you want to be sick in a swimming pool you'll have to actually watch the film to get that one .Don't expect a great plot. Don't expect anything other than a fun film, packed with adult humour which guys will probably be able to relate to, based on their own experiences as hormonally-charged teenagers where nothing/no one seems to go their way. Yes, it's not quite as sharp as the TV series, but it's still a fun way to send the boys off in style.

While Will Simon Bird is also at University having the same luck he as always had when it comes to friends, then we have Neil Blake Harrison living his deluded happy life as he always has done.The three lads stuck at home decided to go to surprise Jay and flight to Australia for a visit, they arrive in the top night club in which "DJ Big Penis" is claimed to be working, they find Jay working in the toilets in the club. Will bumps into an old friend Katie Emily Berrington who he claims was his first love, she persuades him to go to Byron Bay where Will meets a rival for her heart Ben Freddie Stroma a guitar playing, trust fund inheriting, dreadlock rocking douchebag, type of person you want to fail at life.As the film unravels, we find out Jay has an ulterior motive for moving to Australia, he has his own little "side mission" shall we say, leading him to have some extremely memorable scenes. I don't want to delve any more into the story without giving away pivotal parts of the film, however don't be expecting a perfect script the film is all about the gags and boy does it deliver in that department.Overall, in my honest opinion it is at least ten times the film the first one tried to be, where the first relied heavily one the romance and letting the comedy slide, the second has its romantic elements but never lets it get in the way of some of the funniest moments in films in recent years. The film is full to the brim of gut busting laughs, I advise you buy it on DVD/Blu-Ray when you can because you will need to pause at times to catch your breath. claims that he's out there on a gap year his monologue at the start when he chronicles 'his' version of what he's been up to whilst he's been in Australia was very funny . Of course, Jay has gone over to Australia when he hears that his old flame Jane is working out there and he has gone over there to win her back.In some ways this film shares a lot in common with the first film and the TV Series; Will meets a girl he went to school with called Katie and develops a big infatuation with her think Charlotte in the TV Series and Alison in the first film . What follows is Will making a series of embarrassing attempts to woo her - yes it's familiar territory, but what I liked about it is that whilst the scenario was familiar, a lot of the gags were both original and more importantly funny. Will serenading Katie whilst playing the guitar was absolutely hilarious - I still laughed a lot even though I'd seen it in the trailer. Will has proved that he is easily the smartest of the group academically, but I've always felt that he is also the most naïve of the group the scenario between him, Katie and Ben perfectly demonstrates this point . Jay is over in Australia under the pretence that he's on a gap year when in reality he's followed Jane over to Australia in an attempt to win her back - I thought it was so funny every time her name was mentioned and Jay started to get emotional and his bottom lip started to shake. Jay being Jay just tries to brazen it out, but it's both funny and touching to see Jay show his emotions. In the series, there were one or two occasions when Jay shows that he does have a sensitive side, but this side of him has been much more developed in the two feature films. It's great to see both sides of his personality, but let's be honest we'd all love to hear his bull**** stories more as they're so funny due to how ridiculous they are. Neil isn't given quite as much to do here as Simon, Jay and Will, but that didn't bother me as his character probably got the most laughs out of me.Like the Series and the first film, the humour is crude at times, but that isn't a problem for me. I only object when comedy films rely purely on crude humour. It is a film that is crude sometimes rather than all the time - Neil for example unwittingly makes us all laugh due to the fact that he just isn't as bright as his mates - anyone who thinks that you can go to Australia for the weekend from the UK or thinks that the Sydney Opera House is a space ship will always get me laughing.Then we come to the narrative issues; Simon is still with Lucy, but she stays back in the UK. We quickly learn that from the first film to the second film that she seems to have gone from Mary Poppins to a bunny boiler - that to me is just too much of a narrative stretch for me. Whilst I'll accept that her being a psycho made the film funnier, it was tough to believe that the sweet girl from the first film could be this much of a nutter. The second problem is Jay and Jane - he travels all the way to Australia, tracks Jane down, but then she tells him that she won't get back with him. It was tough for me to watch Jay being so sincere towards her only then to be told that he's got no chance. We get hints throughout the film that there's been problems in their relationship, but we're never really told what the problems were. The fact that all the characters end up single in the end almost felt like a regression than a progression.Despite my philosophising in the above paragraph, I still enjoyed this film and laughed more times than I care to remember. This is a film that I found just as funny as the original and I also found that there were many fresh and original gags thrown in the mix. I was tempted to give this film a 7/10 because of how convoluted some parts of the narrative were, but I decided to give it an 8/10 because despite some of the weaknesses in the narrative, this film was still a laugh riot.
