It helps a lot, otherwise you may not get some of the jokes.The actress that played Becca Bella was spot on - with all of Kristen Stewart's tics hair touching, blinking and she sounded almost exactly like her. I loved the jokes about teen angst, cheesy teen romance movies, and..well you'll have to watch it.You may think it's dumb but it's funny dumb, which is entertaining to me. Go in with an open mind and you will be entertained.

The twist with Vampires Suck, though, is that it is a parody of something that, deep down inside, we all really do hate. Unless you're an obsessed teenage girl with the IQ of a tomato, no offense So, please, if you're one of those persons who listens to everyone else's opinions, please don't. Rotten Tomatoes gives this movie a 3%, which is ridiculous. This is an insult, because they gave The Last Airbender an 8%. This film deserves at least a 75%. This movie will make you laugh until you crap thunder, and if a movie makes me laugh more than 15 times, I like it. A couple recent examples of really funny movies are Date Night, The Other Guys, Dinner For Schmucks, She's Out Of My League, The A-Team, and Hot Tub Time Machine. So, have a nice day, go see this movie, and don't be uptight and not accepting, have an open mind, and you'll laugh yourself silly. This movie was better than all of the Twilight movies combined.

fart jokes, pop culture and celebrity references that many reviewers said wore out their welcome with projects like Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans. That may be true, but think about this for a minute. We are talking about a franchise that has spent 500 or so pages going on and on about Edward Cullen's "great" looks, using every descriptive synonym known to man, resulting in the most annoying teenyboppers since Benji and Joel Madden put the oh-so-overrated Good Charlotte on the music map, them and the Jonas Brothers. Ask anyone who has hated the Twilight series from the start, or started to hate it once they got through their Twilight-gushing phase in other words, they grew up and developed literary taste! Neither the books nor the movies deserve even a quarter of the recognition they got, because all the people behind it want you to focus on is how a naive, despairing, depressed girl who doesn't know what she wants getting into a love triangle with a fairy vampire and a werewolf. That and how gorgeous Robert Pattinson looks in his sparkles and pale makeup, and the same with Taylor Lautner in his shirtless scenes. The result: hordes of groupie girls going so far as to unrealistically want to have Edward Cullen and Jacob Black's children, despite the fact they are fictional characters. It's ridiculous and absurd, to say the least! This is why "Vampires Suck" can be halfway appreciated. You can easily laugh at the jokes in this movie because even those who hated it know that this highly overrated saga had this coming all along. And for the aforementioned crimes that this literary atrocity committed, the Twilight saga got the bashing and ridicule it so richly deserved.So if you disliked it the first time because it made you think of the unfunny torture you experienced after flops like the Scary Movie franchise after the first movie, Disaster Movie, Date Movie, Epic Movie, Superhero Movie, and so on, I challenge you to watch this again when it comes out on DVD, and think about what the "Twilight" saga has done to the worlds of both literature and cinema. I guarantee you'll developa new appreciation for this particular one.

I didn't care for the second installment, but then I rarely like sequels.I usually am not that fond of parodies either, but this one had me laughing from beginning to end.What amazed me about this one was that it works as parody even if you like the originals, which I think is very unusual. Some of the reviews here claim you could only like it if you hated the originals, others said you'd like it MORE if you liked the originals... . I kind of think it might work even if you'd never seen a Twilight movie.While I've not read the books this movie might in some ways be truer to the source than the movies it lampoons. "I feel safe with you. Not like with Edward..." . I didn't get that from Twilight.Finally, as has been duly noted, the leads were TERRIFIC at mimicking the characters in the original, particularly the ones playing Becca why the name change though? , Edward, Becca's Dad, and Edward's sister.

you'll cringe, or you might exclaim 'Oh my god!' out loud, and some where you'll laugh your head off.The film follows Twilight and New Moon. 'Becca', Edward and Jacob are three angst ridden teenagers with love on their minds, hormones in their bodies, as they try to find true love and overcome true obstacles. Becca suspects something is strange with both Edward and Jacob. Edward and Jacob have their own problems to deal with.This might be a parody but the creators of the film have realized something very important that Twilight fans have not yet realized- Twilight doesn't need the characters, scenes or plot changed to make it funny. It is one big joke on all on its very own. There's a few changes here and there, a few bad jokes and good ones! , but the thing that is funniest about this film is that it IS Twilight. All actors really do a good job in this film but the three who play Bella, Edward and Jacob are stand out performers as they accurately mimic the characters of the original series.So go see it. Have a laugh! It's therapy for you long suffering 'somehow connected to a Twilight fan' people. And if you're very badly off, I recommend you shout your Twi-fan to this film. "Hey, I heard there was a great vampire movie about misfit teenagers in love! We should go see it. I'll even pay for your ticket." Good luck. : And for the love of sanity; do not take it too seriously.

doesn't like stupid-funny movies, then this may not be for you, but I personally thought it spoofed Twilight perfectly and it was really really funny.

away at some of the jokes.I only gave it 8 out of 10 because there is about 10minutes 3 quarters of the way through when it actually wasn't that funny, but then it picked up again at the end, especially with the TEAM EDWARD vs TEAM JACOB joke! yes the majority IS taking the micky out of TWILIGHT, but as twilight is the reason vampires are so 'in' at the moment, as well as one of the most popular vampire movies, it works. EPIC MOVIE switches scenes every 5 minutes however this is acted like a real movie, with one story line which makes sense and follows up the whole way through, even taking some lines from the original twilight movie.I recommend this film to twilight fans who were upset at the films for being so bad, as well as fans of the film, if you have not seen the twilight movie however, it will be less funny for you. hope this was helpful! :
