| I'm not really a big horror fan, but this one surprised me and I actually like it a lot. Although it's a typical horror movie in a way, with a group of youngsters chased in a dark wood, there are some really original findings in it. I also liked that not all questions were answered in the end, which make you think about the movie after wards and adds just that extra. For a low budget movie the effects are really good, the monster was well created and a unique kind of creepy. For me Elizabeth Gillies absolutely stood out as the best actress of the bunch. | After watching this movie three times already, I can say I really love it! Scary but not too scary, it has a good build up starting quite funny and saving the best for last. The last scenes are really nerve breaking, how it ends and who will survive stays unsure until the very end. Some scenes were a bit predictable, but that's normal for horror movies, and in Animal, this didn't happen too often. Actually, there were quite a few turns in the plot that took me by surprise. | The movie was pretty good. Gore is usually not my favorite thing but it was done well and not overboard in any way. Personally think the acting was good, Trying to put myself in their shoes, I would be shaking in my boots. I'm sure my facial expressions and every thing would just be a big jumbled mess so good for them for keeping it together. I was very very pleased with the ending. It was perfect. I almost want to put this movie in the same category as Hatchet with Danielle Harris or Wrong Turn the first one , Mainly for the monstery antagonist and then the group of people in the woods <more> |

| I get the movie was Cheesy, but that is what was expected. This is a B movie which I love .I myself liked this film a lot.I will admit that some people cannot act in the film but overall they all did a good job.I thought the suspense was pretty good and the last 10 minutes of the movie was lots of fun. Overall I love all the Characters in the movie. Especially Elizabeth Gillies being my favorite and Keke Palmer second.Only advice I can give is don't go in with high expectations. Horror flicks aren't what they use to be. But I loved it! So I'm sure some of you will as well. |

| I guess Chiller didn't pay enough to have this rated higher. This movie is way better than the 4.5 rating suggest. I can't remember the last time a jumped on several scenes when watching a horror flick. The movie was near perfect and only loses a star for the pace at times. The characters also weren't great, but KeKe Palmer kept the show alive for me. I'm definitely going to start checking out more of these Chiller made movies and stop spending on these lackluster high budget films in the theaters. Although I see this one did make it to the big screen, I watched it at home. So <more> |

| After a weekend getaway goes awry, several groups of friends find themselves trapped in an abandoned house in the woods by a ravenous bloodthirsty creature and must find a way to stave off the creature.On the whole this one was quite the enjoyable creature feature that got a lot to really like about it. One of it's better features is the fact of this one really managing to get a lot out of the simplicity of it's premise where there's a fine sense of action and suspense in here all based on the rather easy-going nature of how it starts off. | After having just watched the movie I was astounded when i saw the low score on IMDb. This movie is not your average "scary monster hunts and eats people". Don't miss this one!The characters although not really in-depth are likable/obnoxious where applicable , and play their individual parts really well. The monster itself is awesome, scary, and very believable. The special effects are slightly above par and very convincing.The story flows nicely, keeps up the pace, and has a tense atmosphere. | I loved the film! People may think it's stereotypical but I loved it.The suspense at what would happen next. I'm not a horror fan but this wasn't too scary it made you jump but it wasn't that scary which I liked. I feel bad for Mandy because when she's driving back you can see the sadness/hurt in her eyes she lost her boyfriend,best friend, and two of her other close friends and now she has to go back home and tell everyone she's pregnant and the baby has no dad and the four people she left with died. | I really don't think this deserves the shitty reviews that this film has previously had. I started watching it thinking it was going to be a crappy B movie to help me get to sleep, however, I stayed awake to watch it 'til the end and it had me jumping all the way through! There were some parts that I thought were a tad unnecessary arguments etc but there were other parts that I completely was not expecting, which really made the film worthwhile watching for me. The scene where the crazy bald guy smashes the half-dead guy's face in with a bat was completely unexpected, but was a <more> |
