This was Amazing (by tonofunnumba1) |
You see, this was a ballzy move to make, because not to many people have hear of this classic marvel character. Now I love movies, i work at Blackbuster, so I'm kinda a nerd. Now I have seen sum big time movies produce crappy effects and cinematography, but this is a film that has surpassed the matrix as great/expensive 0cinematography. I always hope for the best when a studio tries and make an inhuman character life like. This movie made the most outstanding complicated character look like an actual thing. It is the most amazing graphics i have ever seen, but it looks like there was no <more> |
Why can't people just enjoy an entertaining movie? (by buttish) |
I am truly confused as to why so many people hated this movie. I found it to be one of the funnest and most unpretentious movies I've seen in a long time. It certainly beats out any movie I've seen thus far this summer especially Batman Begins and Revenge of George Lucasith . I suppose it's just indicative of our over-Bruckhiemered movie going public who think "good" films have to be dumbed-down ei Revenge of Sith, Batman Begins, Spiderman where the characters quality is sacrificed, just so they can explain all emotions and actions they are doing, and actual tension, <more> |
Fun to watch, but don't expect too much (by boyinflares) |
An interesting choice for Marvel to adapt to the big screen or in most cases, the small screen , but don't go expecting "X-Men", "X-2" or "Spider-Man". What we have here is a fairly good horror movie, with a great location and likable cast who all look like they are having fun. Matthew Le Nevez and Alex O'Lachlan the Sheriff and the Deputy are two hotties who make the film even more worthwhile, and Rachael Taylor was pretty good too. The special effects were decent, and the swamp looked real but then again, I'm no swamp expert , it was creepy and <more> |
One of the most underrated movies on IMDb.com! (by JTallman160) |
When I first saw "Man-Thing" on the shelf in the local video store, I was definitely intrigued by the cover; enough to read the back, anyway. After reading the case, I thought it sounded good, but the movie happened to be already checked out. The video store did, however, have a copy of the DVD to purchase for $4.95. I was a little hesitant at first, but after seeing that it was based on a Marvel comic book, I figured it couldn't be too bad.I rented about six or seven other movies that night, and when I got back to my dorm room, I immediately looked them up on IMDb. I must say, <more> |
Something is out there... (by expos_panthersdude) |
in the swamp killing people. It's a shame Marvel and Lions Gate Films, didn't put this movie in theaters. Instead, it went straight to Sc-Fi Channel as a ''Sci-Fi Channel Original Movie''. The movie isn't that loyal to the comic, but it's still a good movie imo. The acting is alright and the direction is good. Man-Thing himself looks good and a little scary. I think, the reason for the re-design of Man-Thing, was to make him blend in with the swamp. That way, it be harder to see him. This movie has a few cool death scenes, the best being Fred Schist's.
