Megan fox acts like Diamond on Ring...... Flawless (by zulfiqar3)
Well first & Foremost I would like to congratulate Megan Fox for her excellent & mesmerizing acting skills in the movie. It's really sad that the movie didn't get the cinema release & is going straight to DVD & Blu-ray. The whole movie from the beginning to the end is top notch. All the actors have portrayed themselves awesomely. Megan Fox really proves one thing in this movie that she has the talent & skill to perform any role given to her. Lastly it really sad & heart breaking the audience have lost the taste to watch & praise good movies. For people who <more>
are thinking about whether to watch or not this movie I say this movie really will take you in to the world love & passion. Passion like the era of the 60's & 70's or even better. Don't miss your chance to watch the movie & enjoy
I had no concept of the story before I saw it. It turned out to be a beautiful idea for a movie that was displayed visually well and acted even better. All of the characters are believable, even Bill Murray. Megan Fox has my total respect as an actress now as she displays every range of emotion available, I actually can't wait to see what movie she does next. Mickey Rourke has only gotten better with time and I couldn't stop thinking how good he was in this movie. I know there are many ideas of what movies are supposed to do for the viewer, if one of the purposes of a movie is to <more>
transport you into it and make you not want to leave, then Passion Play succeeds all the way.
I really enjoyed this movie. I never got why Megan Fox get's called a bad actress she's a good actress in my opinion. All the characters where great especially Lily and Nate I loved their odd romance, it all came together really well at the end when Nate realized he was dead and Lily was his angel. I don't know why this went straight to DVD its a great movie. Megan Fox kind of has something in common with her character to millions of people staring at only her beauty while ridiculing her acting skills kind of like lily everyone staring at her wings while calling her a freak.
Fantastic movie, but you left out a cast member! (by yeritme)
The movie is very well written, produced & directed. The scenery is just amazing, a lot of nice shots in New Mexico. Megan Fox is really blossoming into a spot for an Oscar Award. Mickey Rourke's character Nate in my opinion is one of his best performances. Bill Murray's Character Happy was a perfect part for him, a sharp no BS gangster and just a little twist of comedy. The eagle in flight in the beginning of the movie leaves you with the great thought of freedom. You need to add Chuck Liddell to the cast. He has a minor roll, but is well known in the UFC a long time heavy <more>
weight champion . He is one of Happy's Bill Murray's thugs, he is also known as the Iceman in the UFC, so his character fits him to a tee. He is only in the opening 5 to 10 minutes of Passion Play. This movie should be up for some awards.
Don't read this if you haven't seen the movie. I don't try to analyse movies as I watch them, and I'm glad I didn't with this. It allowed me to enjoy a quirky, well written, and excellently acted story, that absolutely came together at just the right pace in the final scene. All the apparent inconsistencies finally made sense. Possibly the most rewarding final sequence I've ever seen. I've long held the belief that consciousness does not just abruptly end at the point of clinical death, and I know that I'm not the only one who believes this. A dying man <more>
reconciles his wayward life through a dream in his final moments. I loved it.
The latter proves Particularly highly-priced, as considered amongst Delighted's thugs abducts Nate for just about any end by within the desert with layouts on killing him. But as a result of a baffling question the actually very first of numerous Glazer deploys, his overworked deus ex machina belching a fog of narrative exhaust , Nate is spared. He is also stranded. In the long run, traversing the chilly, darkening landscape, he encounters -- what else? -- a touring carnival operate by sideshow commandant Sam Rhys Ifans . The cellphone's within, he tells Nate; just ahead of he can <more>
dial for aid, Even so, he will arrive all via Lily Fox , a raven-haired class powering streaked glass who spreads her, um, wings for voyeurs, perverts together with other fellows of Nate's décourseé ilk.No, genuinely. Lily has dependable-to-goodness wings. Nate ordinarily ordinarily will take a pure curiosity, and correct right before intensive These are escaping Sam's oppressive grasp and bonding higher than Lily's incapacity to fly. Nate's a great deal far more concerned with her electric power to position pounds in his pocket And maybe conserve his existence, returning to city to strike a glance right after Written content material that speedily deteriorates mere hrs following the tasteful, cathartic, inescapable, jazz-scored birdwoman/ex-junkie sexual intercourse scene that pulls Nate and Lily Anytime nearer even as They are pursued and attacked by ugliness from all sides. Will they aid it grow to be? All merchandise considered, Glazer intimates, they'd been on no account Considerably a lot better than when they had each other -- flaws, weaknesses, self-uncertainties and all. Messy as actually like is usually, no foe is often a match for it.
My wife and I saw this movie at TIFF, and loved it. Megan Fox proves she can truly act. Terrific film. The problem, if there is one, is Mickey Rourke's character. As good as he was in The Wrestler, there's a sameness about him, as if the story isn't sure what it wants from him. Bill Murray is excellent as always, but the real gem here is Fox. There's no question that she will forever be hounded, as she faces the double standard all female actresses face. If Channing Tatum gets roles because "he looks good on screen", he still would never face the level of scrutiny of <more>
someone like Fox. However, she puts that to rest here, with a sublime performance.
Good movie...surprised to see what critics said about it (by raman-pthk)
Don't know why most of the critics have lambasted the movie. It was a nice and entertaining movie, good story, all the actors have played their part beautifully. Megan Fox for once have shown some acting skills, Mr. Rourke is good and Bill Murray as always was excellent. The story was good, a bit predictable about the action Rourke will take. I was a bit surprised with the ending but that last smile on Mickey Rourke's face was enough to tell what was going through the entire movie. I have read about what happened with the movie in TIFF and what Mr Rourke have said about the movie. But <more>
if anyone is thinking to watching this movie should first through these comments out of the mind. Watch this movie without any prejudice. All in all if someone will spend his one and half hour to watch this movie that will be spent good.
It has an American Indian Spirit that soars with the Eagles. (by web-lines)
I did not read the reviews, even the TIFF's disapproval, until after I viewed the movie. I can only wonder why this spiritual story bypassed the minds of men. It was a fabulous venture into a real death and life's reflective review.Sometimes a person just can't get out from under the control of bad people Bill Murry's gangster character until they die and are set free, and this is the case for Nate Mickey Rourke who views the flight of the Eagle at the time of his death and smiles knowing it and he is free. Letting go of life and taking a visionary look back into some of <more>
it's misery is the reason for this film.Let your spirit fly with Megan Fox the bird-woman as Lily the flower of death as she beautifully portrays the protector of man's spirit. The story is a sad one, and the characters are played as such. See it with your eyes open and heart ready to be full.
