| Okay, this movie is on of the few that go straight to a DVD and you wonder why: They aren't as good as most movies.... I was very surprised of this movie though. It was way better than I expected! Erica Durance had some very good acting and I liked how all the scenes played out. If you don't watch movies that go straight to DVD than you should give this one a chance...it's actually really good. | What is with all the negativity? I thought the movie was good. Eric Lively deserves much credit for the success of this film, a fantastic performance. I have seen both movies and enjoyed them equally. The Butterfly Effect 2 being a sequel superseded my expectations. It was a new cast and the storyline reflected as much. *may contain spoilers*It's a shame the catalyst for this movie was death. | Let me just first say that I cannot stand when studios make unnecessary sequels to the movies that I absolutely love. Butterfly Effect is a great science fiction that jumps into the world of alternate realities and I was very nervous when I first heard about this sequel. I was fortunate enough to catch one of those marketing screenings studios often have and I have to say that I was very impressed. While I wish the movie was going to be released in theaters, this way is good too because I can just buy it on DVD and watch it whenever I want. | When I first heard there was to be a sequel I said super! I had such great expectations, that when I had the opportunity I dumped everything else just to go and to see it. Now that I've seen it I'm not that excited. The script was not good enough, but the actors were good, very good actually. One thing I should add is that everything happens too fast. | I recently saw the first Butterfly Effect with Ashton Kutcher and enjoyed it, it had a unique and haunting story of what the consequences might be if you change the past. The second one has the same concept, just a different cast. I was expecting a horrible movie after all the bad reviews on this film, not to mention the low rating. But I actually enjoyed the second Butterfly Effect.This time we have a boyfriend, Nick and his girlfriend, Julie, their friends and they are on a trip. | Its a great movie in its own right. Acting is great, plot is decent enough so you can follow the story. Ending is superb. I don't want to give anything away but if you liked the first Butterfly Effect, this is a must-watch. It does have a few sex scenes two but it only helps to continue the story.If I had to pick something wrong with this movie, it would be nothing, because really there isn't anything wrong with the movie. The only reason I think its getting bad ratings is simply because the people who watched it were expecting it to be up to par with the first movie. Don't <more> |
