| I rather enjoyed this film. It didn't act like a typical horror film nor was it a typical thriller. I liked that it had identifiable act breaks, midpoint, etc which you don't find in all horror films these days but it also didn't follow a strict story structure which seems to be becoming more and more popular . Although the film didn't have any sections that were too slow, it did race through some detail that could've been used. If this were a drama I'd be a little more critical but being a horror film I think it was all in all well done. Plus it had turning an <more> |

| I've seen thousands of horror movies in my lifetime, and I don't understand how anyone can rate this film 1/10, it deserves 10/10. Very well acted, the story is strong with a surprise ending. If you liked Drag Me To Hell, you'll like this. Brilliant acting. Afterwards I looked up Mara on Wikipedia and it's true to the myths. It's the best film I've seen that covers the phenomenon of sleep paralysis and nightmares. I would recommend this to everyone who likes strong story lines in horror movies, with well timed suspense, not relying on gore. So, give this film a go, <more> |

| This is the first time ever I don't get annoyed by the "Bad guy lives on to spread evil" ending, I mean that's how freaking good it was on an emotional/psychological level, and don't let me get started with Olga Kurylenko's phenomenal performance. Its entire Idea is somewhat original and personally I believe that mainstream movies like Conjuring and IT have nothing on this Bada#$ baby right here. Moreover, on top of all that it's really damn scary, hence I had to turn down the volume so many times whenever I suspected a scene with a terrifying jump scare. |

| I as a real horror fan cannot understand why people rate it so low. Why on earth? What real reason? There must be some trolling here. The acting was very strong, just like the entire atmosphere surrounding this movie. Enough scary moments and a believable plot.There are a few movies about the same issue but I like the twist this movie gave to the whole sleep demon entity.Give this movie a try and you will enjoy it, guaranteed! |

| The concept of the film is an actual belief and the way it's portrayed is done nicely with good acting.. if you are into suspense /horror/thriller you will enjoy this.. Recommended.. |

| I liked the concept and the poster so gave it a chance. It's a good horror film. Starts slow. First half is really good, the atmosphere was creepy. Olga Kurylenko was broken but likeable which is very hard to pull off in a horror film. Olga Kurylenko plays her role very well, from the beginning there is a sense that she is not well fitted in the world, may be running from something, may be hiding something. | I have been reading some of the reviews of this movie, if i had trusted on those bad reviews i would have not watched this movie., but i watched it last night and got surprised with this movie. I think this is the best horror movie of the year 2018. i have seen almost all 5+ rating movies of this year but found this one above all. So i would request the readers that just ignore those bad reviews, i tell you if you are die hard horror movies fans then you must like it after watching it. |
